- Description: A brochure advertising volunteer opportunities on the Appalachian Trail.
- Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I knew I wanted to create a brochure about the Appalachian Trail, but I wasn’t sure how to proceed. I looked for inspiration on Pinterest and the internet, and I decided to go with a double gate brochure. I designed the logo in Illustrator and placed it in an InDesign document. After making many edits and receiving many critiques, I added the body copy. I printed it off at AlphaGraphics and created a video showcasing it.
- Message: Encouraging people to volunteer at the Appalachian Trail.
- Audience: Anyone interested in hiking, the outdoors or the Appalachian Trail.
- Top Thing Learned: I learned how to design throughout a larger document like the brochure. Repetition was a big element here.
